Sego Sambel!
This post is dedicated for hot-lover (not literally means a hot couple but i mean for ppl who loves hot and spicy food ^^) !
Many people don't like spicy foods, but as much as them, there are also lots of people who loves it! I'm not addicted to capcaisin but i can eat them well // even so sometimes the aftermath is realllyyyyy bad lol and i often regret why i ate those chillis but well, sometimes i just wanna eat them//
One of famous spicy foods in my city (maybe my country) is sego sambel. It's Javanese language; Sego means rice and Sambel means chilli. But we don't eat just chili and rice, and in this place when i ate them, they are served with deep-fried egg, tempe (soy-fermented food, fried, one of Indonesian traditional food), fried fish, and some raw veggies like cucumber, cabbage, etc. Then they add a lot of chilli sauce (you can choose light, moderate, or heavy spicy).
But in this post i also include some photos about my other orders, such as Sego Jingkrak (literally means jumping rice; they mean when we ate that we will get spiciness that even made us do nothing but jumping around lol) -that's the one which doesn't look like it has anything except chilli sauce and crumbs-, Sego Jangkrik (literally means cockroach rice but Jangkrik is the restaurant name; so kinda like one of their trademark menu)-the one in banana leaf under it-, Spicy Fried Rice, Pitik Geprok (literally means smashed chicken , because the chicken served as thin fried chicken fillet, like being smashed lol). All of it is spicy but you can choose the spicy level; except the Pitik Geprok, it isn't spicy because they separate the chili in another small plate.
Oh and an addition, i also include the pao (steamed bun) i tried in that restaurant.. Well i often find pao everywhere but this one is the first oreo pao i have ever eat :D lol enjoy!
