Christmas Din-Din

Even though it's almost a month after christmas, which means it's already very late for this post, i still wanna share about my christmas dinner with my friends ~
We went to Confit, one of new dining in Surabaya, located in Jl. Kartini.
The serve only set menu (well i don't really know for now, but i guess they still serve with set menu only).
At that time there were 2 type of set menu, with price range IDR150k and IDR200k excluding service charge and tax.
Let's say type A is the 150 one and type B is the 200. In both type we can choose our appetizer between mushroom soup or escargot. The difference for the two types is in their main menu and dessert. For the main menu in type A we can choose between 3 menus: seafood risotto, double-decker burger, and one other menu i forgot lol. And thenthe dessert choices is tiramisu and cheesecake. Meamwhile for set menu B, the main course is steak (beef/fish) the fish will be different i guess for each day? (Some people get gindara, on the other day some get salmon, so i guess we have to ask first what type of fish they'll serve for the day). For the dessert, we can choose pannacotta or chocolate lava cake.
Actually i forgot their menus' exact name but you can figure out how is it like a tiramisu be or pannacotta be, right?^^''
My order was the set A, i choose escargot, double-decker burger, and tiramisu. Before my food came, they also give us compliments: popcorn seaweed. It's not salty enough for me (i like salty one for popcorn) but the crunchy-ness is ok.
I should say the escargot is my favorite escargot i've ever tried. It's oily enough (extra virgin olive oil they said), the escargot cooked nicely (not too chewy) and it has quite strong garlic taste. The saltiness is ok too for me.
For the double-decker burger, its portion is big. I couldn't even finish it even though i usually eat a lot :$ it has two big slice of fried dory, stacked up with the burgers and served with french fries, tar-tar sauce, tomato, and chili sauce.
Meanwhile, the dessert was such a hit! We all know that tiramisu has cream (mascarpone cheese), and their tiramisu tasted really light but the taste is perfect. You won't get thick cream and strong coffee taste in it, but you'll definitely know it's a tiramisu. The serving is also really lovable and modern; get rid of that tiramisu slice you used to see!
I think all the menu is worth to try (i actually tried almost all the menu by picking at my friends' lol). And i suggest if you came with large number of groups, you should make reservation first! (My friends and i actually met with our juniors at campus there lol)
